Yoga Instructor

April Borne has been an active Yoga teacher in the community and The Yoga Studio since 2013. She has history in the fitness industry since the early 90’s as a personal trainer and fitness classes. She has a background in karate and current interests include paddle boarding, cycling, golf and of course her continued education and practice of Yoga.

April has expanded her Yoga training to include the teachings and practice of Iyengar yoga, Trauma informed Yoga for PTSD, restorative yoga, yoga for back care, meditation and annual 1-2 week intensive trainings with her Senior teachers.

April continues to experience the many therapeutic benefits of yoga within herself and has found
teaching yoga an invaluable way to connect with others.
