Yoga Therapy for Arthritis and Autoimmune Diseases is a comprehensive program that focuses on bringing awareness to the body’s range of motion while emphasizing functional training designed to translate directly into daily life activities. Participants learn how to walk, breathe, and sit with greater alignment and awareness—foundational skills that support overall health, mobility, and ease of movement in everyday life.
This registered class incorporates resistance bands, bender balls for core strength, and hand weights to enhance muscle building, core stability, and balance. Chair yoga and joint mobility poses are an integral part of each class. With a regular practice, students may experience reduced joint pain and stiffness, increased flexibility and coordination, and improved muscle strength and functional mobility, which are essential for maintaining independence and quality of life as we age.
*The ability to get up and down from your mat is required. If this is challenging, please register for Chair Yoga For Healthy Mobility or Yoga for Healthy Aging.
