Almost everyone experiences stiffness and diminishing mobility in the back that can lead to problems with health if not addressed. Work with one of our experienced Yoga Therapists as they help strengthen your back muscles and alleviate lower back pain. In this 8 week series we use a specialized spinal strap and other props to release muscular tension and decompress the spine.
Yoga for a Better Back is a mindful movement based practice designed to relieve spinal tension, strengthen core muscles and improve posture. A typical session focuses on relaxing the muscles that are overworked and tight, then working to restore mobility and strength through movement and poses that focus on increasing range of motion in the joints. This practice is suitable for beginners.
