Mom & Baby Fusion

A Yoga inspired Barre class, with the elements of Pilates, focusing on improving functional core strength, regaining flexibility and building strength. Mom & Baby Fusion is for babies from 6 weeks old, including crawlers.


Yoga and Barre are both core-centric physical practices.

Barre exercises focus on posture and the intrinsic stabilizer muscles that support the spine, helping moms recover a healthy posture after carrying a large amount of weight in the front of your body.


Yoga focuses on lengthening the muscles, while Barre focuses on strengthening the muscles. These practices are a great compliment to each other when trying to balance out the muscular compensations caused by pregnancy.


The use of resistance Thera bands, Bender balls and light hand weights are part of this class.

 

What to bring:


- yoga mat

- 2 to 5 pound hand weights (optional)

- grippy barre socks or indoor only shoes (optional)

- baby carrier


 Note: balls and thera bands are provided by the studio
