This workshop will include guided breath work with a collection of yoga poses to help create a yoga practice that is suited for those hoping to stay active and increase strength and bone density.
The information provided will offer studies and proven trials presented by well-known doctors such as Andrew Weil and Dean Ornish. Studies presented through trials and proven results help support the belief that those suffering with Osteoporosis and Osteopenia can find safe movement. They can continue being active and quite possibly reduce the onset of further challenges with Osteoporosis with a specific Yoga practice. Studies have shown that participants with a regular yoga practice found an increase in strength and bone density, improved balance and mental motivation with no injury or fractures.
