Tina Gallo
Yoga Instructor
Tina has been teaching Yoga For Backs classes since 2016. Chronic back pain resulting from a significant scoliosis curvature and everyday life stressors are what led Tina to attend yoga classes religiously. Less visits to the chiropractor, reduced tension in the body-mind and a mobile awakened spine are just some of the profoundly healing impacts that the practice of
yoga has had on Tina. Tina’s first 200 Hr yoga teacher certification was influenced by Critical Alignment Yoga, a technique focused on relieving tension and improving spinal mobility through the use of spinal-specific yoga props, mindful movements and conscious breathwork. Take Tina’s classes to feel balanced, reduced stiffness and connected to your body-mind. Tina creatively incorporates the use of props while exploring slow, focused, and conscious movements. Tina’s mission as a yoga teacher is to inspire students to listen to their bodies on a deeper level, to truly practice the art of interoception. With a deeper awareness of the body, it’s possible to uncover patterns in the mind, and she believes this is where healing begins.
“If we want a joyous life, we must think joyous thoughts. Whatever we send out mentally or
verbally will come back to us in life form.” ~Louise Hay
