Harmonizing The Pelvic Floor - a safe exploration of the function, fascia and embodiment of the pelvic floor.
In this workshop you will learn and explore:
- Explore how our voice and breathing are connected to our pelvic floor, and how to use them to increase awareness
- Reasons why someone might not be able to feel or access the pelvic floor and what to do about it
- Understand the fascial structure of the pelvic floor and embody anatomy, connections and function
- Coordinate the fascia of the legs with the pelvic floor: What this means for walking and jogging and moving freely
- Develop a consciousness for the organs in pelvic floor: understanding and training the fascia of the pelvic organs, recognizing their connections to (in)continence and fascia
- Mindful Somatic Meditation practice, examine how our thoughts and feelings can influence healthy emotional pelvic connection
All are welcome to attend, no prior experience necessary. This is a trauma informed workshop, and will be offered as a safe, invitational method to attend to and connect with this area of ourselves.
