Ahimsa. Satya. Santosha….
Have you heard these words in class before?
Are you curious about what they mean and how they relate to yoga & meditation?
Come spend an afternoon exploring yoga philosophy!
Yoga is so much more than a physical practice. It is about establishing a relationship with ourselves, creating harmony, and positive change within ourselves, as well as how we interact with the world around us.
Essentially, yoga is you learning about YOU.
The Yamas & Niyamas are guidelines which provide a foundation for our practice of both yoga & meditation, as well as shape our daily life. They help us to see our own self- imposed perceptions and limitations, and provide guidance for overcoming these obstacles... obstacles that are holding us back from growing into the fullest version of our selves.
The Yamas & Niyamas support our practice of self-observation, cultivating balance, steadiness and equilibrium. They provide tools for moving through life with more self-assurance, grace and ease.
This workshop is an introduction: we are starting a conversation about these principles, exploring what they are, why they are important & how they can help us. This is an opportunity for self-exploration.
This workshop is open to everyone and anyone with a curious mind and an open heart. Explore and grow in your practice of yoga & meditation.
