Yoga Instructor
Joanna has been teaching Yoga for over five years, and was introduced to the practice over 10 years ago. Her foundational practice was influenced by the Iyengar tradition, where she completed her first 200 hour teacher training with The Yoga Studio College of Canada. Since then, she has completed a 300 hour Advanced training at Inspired Yoga and Wellness, and has completed two Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings with Bernie Clarke and Debby Sereda. She draws upon different styles of Yoga that make her teaching unique. She inspires people to find the teacher within, to develop self-awareness through breath and mindful movement. She believes that modifying the practice is unique to each individual. She also loves sharing reflections from books about Yoga Philosophy, and self-transformation.
