Cassandra Janson

Cassandra was introduced to Yoga by her Grandmother as a child and the practice has been a continual sanctuary ever since. She completed her initial Hatha teacher training in 2012 and has been honored to guide a mix of private and studio lessons. A secondary Yin/Restorative training followed in 2014, as did a diploma in Massage Therapy in 2015. 
The intensive study of anatomy, physiology and remedial exercise has influenced Cassandra's teaching style greatly; her classes are designed to stretch and strengthen synergistic and antagonistic muscle groups to promote postural alignment and optimal balance in the body. There is a strong meditative emphasis, encouraging deep release and relaxation. Personally, Cassandra enjoys time in nature, travel and music.
