My yoga journey began over 15 years ago, sparked by a desire to try something new with a couple of close friends. I quickly fell in love with yoga and its ability to bring healing to the body, mind, and heart.
I completed my 200-hour teacher training with Yoga Santosha and have continued my education with Yin Yoga Levels 1, 2, and Wall Yin under Alan Mileham, whose yin training is rooted in the methodology and science developed by Paul Grilley and Bernie Clark—pioneers of modern-day Yin Yoga.
Beyond certifications, I’ve had the privilege of learning from incredible mentors: Brandi Wilson and Alan Mileham who incorporate functional anatomy in conjunction with their knowledge base which stem from two major figures in yoga: Pattabhi Jois (1915—2009) and B.K.S. Iyengar (1918—2014), both of whom were disciples of Krishnamacharya (1888—1989), the revered guru often called the Father of Modern Yoga.
Through teaching, I hope to inspire others to awaken with each breath to experience and honour each moment in their body & mind with patience, kindness and compassion. Every inhale, every exhale moving you toward peace in your heart. Namaste.
